Are startups really like this?

Currently in a "startup"—well they claim to be a startup lol, but I think they only say that to attract people. In practice, pilit corporate practices. Every task in Jira is tracked by the second, and the tasks themselves aren't even well defined! Incredible levels of micromanagement for very little feeling of accomplishments at the end of every sprint. Don't get me started on the politics, and the c-suites publicly duking it out on our Slack for everyone to see. Napapaisip tuloy ako if worth it magtuloy dito. May certain level of independence nga pero at what cost? Parang mas okay mag traditional corporate, at least dun honest sila na corporate sila. Clear roles, processes in place, and predictable work hours all sound good right now. Idk medyo burned na I guess. Sa mga nag-stay sa PH startups long term, how do you manage?
